I went to a wonderful fundraiser for Aprile Hearn, featuring candidates named below. Above is a 360 degree video I made so you can enjoy the event as if you were there! Look around, see who all is there, and enjoy the music.

I had an interesting conversation with Bishop Lyons while I was trying to escape the well-wishers and clout chasers crowded around the step-and-repeat stage at the end of a long hallway. I happened to still have my camera going inside my clutch, so I will share that with you when I have some subscribers or donations. Whatever is legal and floats your boat.

This is my diary. I have nothing to hide. I am a socially moderate, fiscally responsible Republican who happens to be running for US Congress deep in the heart of Kentucky’s MAGA country. But Kentuckians are waking up. They are realizing they have been lied to by the MAGA cult. I left the Democratic party after I saw behind the curtain. I ran for Senate in 2018 as a Democrat and the things I saw caused me to change my party registration to Independent. I ran again in 2024 on a campaign to expose the corruption in the democratic party and show voters a way forward. And a lot of Republicans are waking up to the same things in their party. Inspired by Thomas Massie in District 4, I wanted to give conservative voters in District 2 a choice this election cycle over Trump bootlicker and warmonger Brett Guthrie. Someone who is not afraid to stand up to Donald Trump, vows to defund endless foreign wars and wants to hold adults who prey on children accountable. So I joined the Republican party in 2025 and filed to run in 2026 (5 minutes before the filing deadline when I realized no one like Massie or me was on the ballot in District 2.

I’m the daughter of a Korean War Veteran, the mother of two adult sons, including a Marine, a supportive wife, a farmer, a small business owner, a retired Wall Street broker and an animal rescue visionary. These things are personal to me, just as I know they are for you. I am an open book, but the most important reasons why I am running are already listed above.
